Relay Recess

Relay Recess is a program where you walk to cure most cancer. We had survivors come and they walked first. We had about 10 survivors that could make it. Also, we had a bouncy house, different stations to learn how to prevent some cancers, and a DJ came so we could listen to music while we played and walked.

We made a Ribbon of Faith where we put survivors or people that died fighting against cancer. To put your name or someone you know on the Ribbon, you had to pay $2 and the money went to the ACS (American Cancer Society).

Other activities we raised money from were

  • petting zoo
  • casual days
  • bake sale
  • baby sitting on Parent Teacher Conference
  • coin drive

In all we raised, $1750 with all our fundraisers.
